How to Plan a Month of Website Updates

Use a simple four-week framework for service, FAQ, recent-work, reminder, availability, or seasonal updates without manufacturing filler.

7 min read

A month of updates should reflect real business activity. If nothing useful changed, review existing pages instead of manufacturing weak posts.

A four-week framework

  1. Week 1: Service or offer. Clarify a service, seasonal package, promotion, or availability window with dates and conditions.
  2. Week 2: Frequently asked question. Answer a real question customers ask before contacting you.
  3. Week 3: Recent work, event, or business update. Share a completed project, upcoming event, process change, or announcement when permissions allow.
  4. Week 4: Reminder, availability, or seasonal information. Help visitors act before a deadline, busy period, closure, or seasonal need.

Adjust the rhythm

A restaurant, clinic, contractor, store, studio, nonprofit, and consultant will not share the same cadence. Use the framework only when there is something genuinely useful to say.

Plan your next website update

Turn a current business update into clear website content that is ready for review before you use it publicly.
